Here are a couple of my VW engines. The one on the left is a 2332cc and pushes my bug down the track in 6.80 seconds. The one on the left is a 1904cc and will run 7.50s in the drag car but is now in my street car. Lots of fun. I know it not the power that V8s can put out but going from 50 hp stock to getting 260 hp is a big diffrence.

My 429

It's a DOVE block and ported DOVE heads. 460 Victor intake with a 750 Double pump. HEI distributor, Keith Black 11:1 pistons, Crane Cam, ARP studs and bolts, Melling oil pump. I'll be using a Holley electric pump and reg.. I rebuilt my C-6 so that may not work. It'll have a 2800 stall converter. (maybe). I'm trying to build a frame for the Karmann Ghia body. I'm shooting for 2500 pounds. But the eng/trans is around 950 lbs.together so, my weight predictions may be off.
