OK, I've been racking my brain for a unique exhaust and have come up with some ideas please vote on your favorite all are stacks

1. 6 pipes forming a gatling gun

2. 6 pipes in a round formation all with flappers (I have one already and Earthman will give me 2 leaving me only 3 to find)

3. 6 pipes in a line looking like a pipe organ (with flappers)

4. none of the above

This was supposed to be a poll but I screwed up, if someone (mods) can fix it please do.

If your gonna go with multiple pipes, I'd go with the gatling gun idea, that would be pretty sweet..

Inline would be cool to see. I seem to remember the Gatlin gun exhaust tips for Harleys for sale somewhere...can't remember where now...have to do a search for them.

I was looking for pics, found lots of motorcycle gatling gun tips, but didn't find any on a car or truck

I think the Harley ones spin when the bike is running. Gonna be crappy here for a couple days so not gonna get anything done on that project plus the grandsons birthday is tomorrow and the party is Saturday so I gotta get the wagon done.

Here's a roadster pickup with a 6 that's kinda cool....use the gatling tips instead of the megaphones???

Rat Fink, I'm missing something on the roadster pickup but that's the look I want on the Harley.

Colton, I think if I go the six in a row they will be the 2" pipe as I have one flapper already and an offer for 2 more so I would only have to come up with 3 more, plus according to which way I turn them flat against the rear of cab or along side of bed I don't have much room between window and cab edge.

kinda like the 6 in a row with flappers, too bad they couldnt be between the cab and bed.why not be different[P

I am hoping to go with something like rockets to help with my military theme.

Any ideas what I can use for a nose cone. I prefer round vs pointed cone.

Find you an older thick steel 5 lb fire extinguisher. They are very thick and taper to a point to where the valve goes.Just a thought

It appears that you are going to make this a flapper? Correct? If so you need to make these out of very light gauge aluminum so they function.

If I were doing it I would make the rocket/bomb/missal vertical and hinge the nose cone to be a flapper. I could hammer out a couple nose cones for you in aluminum or steel. It would also help if you gave us the diameter you plan to make these & more detail on function.[S

i like the 6in a line....
big ol suckers though.

Colton, I suspect that by dispersing the exhaust from that little old tired 6 banger into 6 pipes that it will have a hard enough time lifting six 2" flappers

Now the next question is material, if I go with the Gatling gun look I think regular steel exhaust painted black will look the best.

If I go with the pipe organ look I'm not sure. I could get some thin wall 2" stainless @ the scrap yard pretty cheap, or find some old drag pipes, or regular exhaust pipe?

The fire extinguisher idea is good...

I am planning to start with a basic cheap 6" round muffler. I plan to cut off the inlet and enlarge it to incorporate a 3" collector flange.

The exhaust will enter into the front of the muffler and the nosecone will extend the front of the muffler.

I have 55 chevy fenderwell headers I am going to run up-side-down. (Kind of look like a nitro funny car from the front.

I may angle them up in the front half way between level and 45 deg.

I need some sort of a noise suppressor for PA state inspection and I thought a muffler would be perfect.

A basic start with something like this. ((No Flapper))
