Fan Clutch Tool

I made this crude tool out of frustration and available scrap. (Yes, I know I could buy something, but I made this in 30 mins. and it cost me nothing.)

It's 24" long and 3/8" thick, cut from a hunk of 7075 aluminum... a fairly stiff and hard material, unlike softer alloys.

Anyhow, It fits where a pipe, adjustable or regular combination wrench won't, due to awkward access, goofy angles and slim (tight) fit.

Now that's ingenuity! I like it! Another option is O'reillys and AutoZones tool loaner program. They have one. Put down a deposit and bring it back when you're done (hopefully not broken).
