Yo-Lightning- Good pic..

Maybe I'm kinda obsesed with fenders lately, but that car rocks!!

Over %50 of the look of that car is the fenders-- Take them off--its just another roadster! (well-the boat tail IS cool) but the fenders really make it..


I'm an old fart thats owned more cars than I can count, and I guess I'm covered up with 'been there-done that', so when I run on to something I haven't done or even seen in real life--It wakes me up a little--like I re-discovered cars!!

Now --every roadster I see needs those big honkin fenders!

I ain't right--but I'm havin fun!!

Trimmed on the VW fenders this morning, and tacked them together.

Theres some good lines in the fenders -- The big hole is not a good thing--but it might be a place for a headlight... I need to get the car out of the shop and stick the fender on the wheels and step back and get a look.

Also--Heres a pic of some of the older fenders without the big hole--looks like they would be much better to use--might get me a few if the guy can really do the $60 each..

we have a pair of 37 ford car front fenders

you should spin the v dub fenders around bacward so the swoop is to the rear. fill the light hole. tight in the front and with the flare to the rear. This is what most all of the 30's coach cars did back then. looks a little weird the other way. My $.02
