cab floor support

Got our cab supports laid out today. Still have to trim some here and there.

Your pictures look so familiar to me........lots like my interior, except my floor is still cardboard. :D:D Yours looks great and you are moving right along.

Gm 525 steering box mocked up. looks like it is going to work good. Steers very well in the shop.

Nice mounting bracket. And, I like your steering column with no mast. What did you take the steering box out of?

Bob, box came out of a 90's S-10. It is bigger than the vega and corvair. It looks similar to the vega box but bigger. I think it is going to work well with our setup.

About that open frame tubing end where the frame drops down.
I think it would look awesome if you capped that with a pointed piece. :cool:
 
I do plan on capping the open ends of the frame, just trying to get all the mock-up done so I dont have to take it apart to many times.
 
Getting headers laid out. Decided to go with lake pipes. I think it helped fill the void between the front axle and cab. It is a lake pipes kit from spe**way.

Father & Son project

This is awsome to see some of ya spend time workin on your ridez with the kids because some don't, i think it's GREAT that u Guy do that i have a 4yrs old he helped me weld the floor pans in our ride,he kept tellin me to weld here and there so it will cool down my oldest son is 10 he help with the brakes and seats. so keep on truckin with your project Busman:cool: the New Dude on RRR, HillbillyMoPaR
 
Got shocks mounted. Working on headlights.
