FBI virus

I don't know if you guys have heard of the FBI computer virus going around, but thousands of people have had it and had to have their computer fixed to get rid of it. It basically locks up your computer and a screen comes up and says you have been doing illegal activity and you must pay a fine to free it up. It has nothing to do with the real FBI, just a scam.

A lady friend got it and had to pay a hundred bucks to clean her computer, and tonight I got it by, of all things, going on a pet site. Anyway, my Security Essentials free program grabbed it and a screen came up and told me to restart the computer, which I did, and the virus is gone !! [cl

That free program has saved me a bunch of times, and I thought I would just pass it along.

Aren't Penthouse Pets pets ?? The last time I got a virus I got it looking up recipes for something to make for dinner. So much for clean living, huh ?

no bugs for the last 10 years.

Ive had that pop up on my Mac a few times. I reboot and all is good.
