here is some side shots of my truck. i know its proportions are not perfect but i built it on a tight budget and i have less than 500 bucks in a complete chasis plus a 4.3 and a overdrive tranny i did not use. you could get the front to look a lot better by changing the steering box it was in the way of setting the radiator back to get the proportions the way i liked but i built it pretty cheap it turns a lot of heads and is a lot of fun!

I really REALLY like your tire and wheel setup!!!! Can i get more info on it? Like sizes and wheel types?

Thanks!

when i started building the frankentruck i ran into the same problem, namely the ifs front end was way too far back and would have looked goofy. i used a toyota 2wd truck from for mine though. so i cut the ifs stuff off and hung a chevy truck straight axle under it with modified and hand made spring perches. its not perfect, but it works good and looks better then the ifs would have.

TT on S15 Jimmy

I plan on putting a fiberglass 1926-27 TT cab on a 1985 s15 jimmy chassis next spring.Going to use real steel 1931 fenders.Planning to make an old time wrecker. Why do I want to do this?Because most say jimmys set to high and an S series chassis will not work on anything other than fat fender cars. When I am told something is impossible,I have to try it.Will it look like number 2 when finished?Maybe, but I am going to do it anyway.:D
