What's up everyone my name is Bernie. I live in the land of nothing..... Port St Lucie, Florida. I've been in an out of the autobody business for about 30 years, for the last 5 years I've had a real job. I've owned 6 vw's in the past and I currently own a 1972 Super Beetle that I have rodded out.
I turned it into a chop top volksrod. I am on the finishing stages of the build and it is a head turner...

Here's what was done:
4" Chop
Prowler like fenders made from original fenders.
(They turn with the wheels)
Extended nose made from original fenders
Rebuilt 1600 dp
Straight pipes with home made flappers
Rear Quarter windows filled in
Home made roof rack for surf board
Black & White checker interior and exterior accents
Custom made expantion steel running boards
Gas door Shaved
Home made headlight buckets
Home made lantern style tail lights
New A Pillars
Audio:
Rockford Fosgate/Bose sound system
Cerwin Vega Subs
Wheels:
Vintage Western 40's

I think I got it all.
