Ford Falcon wheel wells

Looking for tips on cutting out the rear wheel wells on a 62 Falcon for tire clearance, do I use cardboard and get a pattern off the front fender or do I have to figure out a radius somehow ???

If you want a true radius, fashion a simple stick "compass".

Use your axle or hub center as the pivot, tape a sharpie or a hunk o' crayon to the other end, sweep a mark. Repeat as many times as necessary to take as much or as little as you like.

I like the cardboard pattern off the front if you want them to sorta match. Do like DR. C says, then put your cardboard pattern up there to get a feel for which you like best, or parts of each.

Well, I did the cardboard pattern, how’s it look ? I bought a bunch of machines from Eastwood so I’m gonna try to build flares next.

If you want the same flare as the front, could you find some scrap fronts and adapt the flare to the rear quarters?
