At the front, the center of the crank is 15" off the ground and centered between the frame rails.
The output of the tranny is also centered between the frame rails.
The engine and tranny are tilted down from front to back 3 degrees.
The 2 1/2 " offset of the 8.8 rear will most likely not matter.
The floorboard tranny hump is 5" high and tapers from front to back.
Not sure if this is the info you're lookin for so, if it isn't just ask and I'll try to get what you want.

Thanks Old Iron! Those dimensions are very helpful.
I did a little exercise and dropped my frame rails down from 8" off the ground to match you 5 1/2 just to see what I would end up with.
5 1/2 to the bottom of the cab rail and 9 1/2 to the bottom of the engine rail.
If I can set my engine between the rails to match your 15" crank dim I can end up with the same tunnel height.

Dropping my frame cab rail down to 5 1/2 from the 8" also gives me some additional foot well depth. (I have no floor in yet) It's only 2 1/2" but makes a big difference in seating comfort if there is such a thing in these rigs.

Are you running an 8.8 or a 9" rear? And is your rear shortened?

My front end should be here soon.....and I should have my hands on a rear mid week. I have a local engine rebuilder looking at pricing on a 331 or 392.

Thanks much for taking the time to provide me with the dims......I hope I can repay the favor.

Couper

I'm running a 9" and it's not narrowed. I wanted the big tires on the outside of the bed sides without tubbing it. I did widen the fenders 3" for tire clearance.

Cool Beans...I like that same look. Still undecided about fenders though.

This is one of my favorites pinned up on the wall in the garage.

Estimated Weight?

Getting ready to order my 4 link with coilovers. Comes with a 10" spring / 12" c to c mounting holes which looks to be fine. I have 3 - 1/2 car weight choices 950, 1100 & 1450...has to do with spring rates 115#, 140# & 225#.

Motor 700, Trans 160, Frame 370, Cab & Bed estimating 1000 max?

I'm thinking I should go with the 1450?

Thanks for your idea's

You would probably want one of the two lighter ones.
