help with a choice?

late 70's and 80's camaros and firebirds is what i used for my AD truck. good running gear up front, decent rearends, SBC, ect... most important is that replacement parts and high performance gear for those cars are CHEAP and readily accessible.

ok - a good friend of mine is basically giving me a partial donor - that will
cover my engine, trans, rear end and such -- may use as much of the
frame as possible - but still thinking of just building the entire thing...
i just like the idea of starting with something -- and ill probably have to end
up with 2 different lug patterns but im very ok with that.
its an f350 dually :) !!!

will see what i can do about picking up a cab today - know an old hispanic guy thats got a few on his land ... very pleasant old guy - a little talkative and kinda hard to understand - but a good man none the less --so unless something else comes up one of these will be what im working with

my other option is to go with a 60s model - but as tempting as it is - i think im gonna hold on w/ oldschool ill have to let it stew some more i guess.

and see what you guys see

i like 60s dodge trucks - but thats about it unless theyre running and ready to go as a daily driver - then any 60s truck is better than a new truck in my opinion lol

Can you chop a 5 window and keep the windows? That would be sick. Really like the patina on the 59(ish) Ford. But I wouldn't mess with it or the 65(ish) Chevy. For a fenderless, go for the first 5 window - it's got some of the trim and the windows still with it.
