I had these shock mounts brackets cut out at work. I would like to know if anyone sees an issue with this set up. I have a guy that lives near by and says that I do not have enough travel with the shocks. According to the manufacturer the shocks should be mounted 12" center to center. The only issue I can see is between the spring shackle and lower portion of the bracket . There is about an 1.25 clearane.

Lets see if the photos load this time.

Sorry had to fix your pics, was getting crick in my neck.lol
Unless the shock can go up into the upper mount it looks like it's going to hit as the shock moves up.

Sorry about the photos loading like that. Their should be about an 1/8 clearance preside of the shock. I was thinking about going out the garage and make some thicker spacers on the lathe instead of using a boat load of washers

As long as you have the clearance for the shock to move up between the brackets then you're fine.
Spacers would make it look better :)
