Now, I've shown mine, you show yours!

I may have to take a picture of it later when i get home. I learned to weld last year as i was building my car. I was up there late one night after work - a regular occurance. I believe i was sanding down and knocking the rust off my front axle and wishbones. I had a habit of overworking the compressor and making it get too hot and shut off. So, I'd work at sanding for a bit, then let the compressor load the tank up and cool off a bit. While i was letting it cool off, i decided to practice welding, as i was just learning how.

I took some flat-stock and built a little house...complete with door and windows thanks to a plasma cutter.

Was there the following weekend with my father-in-law, and he made a comment about where the hell his flat-stock was....that he swore he had more than that. I kept my mouth shut...but i think he probably figured it out the next time he came to my house and saw my ugly ass flat-stock house sitting on my desk. Probably weighs 5 lbs. :)

yard art count?
Welded up the extra parts and used a manure spreader axle/wheels for running gear. 4x6 treated beam for frame rails.
At least no one has bugged me to buy this one out of the field.

I had a piece of glass from an old end table so I built a new table using a four way lug wrench,an axle from a S-10 and an extra rim I had laying around. it took maybe 15 minutes and I wondered why I didn't do it a long time ago[;)

I built this for a friend of mine a while back. It is made from old Packard transmission parts and a couple of welded up parts. The top is one of the turbines out of the torque converter and I bought a cool bulb and a cord switch from Home Depot.
