The 55 is from Australia. I talked to the owner , shown leaning on the car in the photo. If there had been a long distance award he would have won it for sure. I will be watching the schedule for next year so I can be there for the gasser wars.
By the way , if you find a photo of an "export" model '57 Chevrolet car , you will find they used the 55-56 dash . A 57 dash as we fortunate Americans know it would be considerably more difficult to convert to RH drive. A little tri-five trivia for you.
