gear swapping the caddy.

Hey all.
got my 71 Caddy fleetwood that ive been toying with.
I'm not trying to make it into a street outlaw car but would like a dab more performance out of her.
think going from the 2.93 gearing And adding a 3.55-3.73 gear and a posi would wake it up?
Want good driveability but just a little mote acceleration.
any thoughts? Tnx guys.
