"night was going to dip into the low 40's"
Waaa
Haha, yeah, I know, we are really spoiled here in Fl aren't we?
Dan and were just laughing about that, it was only 65 during the day and I had a sweatshirt on. If I still lived in Pennsylvania and ever got a 65 degree day in January I would have been laying on the lawn thinking Summer had arrived.
What is funny about Florida is that no one here has nice Winter coats or clothes, so when we do bundle up we look like homeless people. Last night we were sitting at a restaurant and when I looked around all I saw were people with lots of layers of clothes on that looked like they were from 1965. I was one of them.
Funny story. Years ago I went to a car show here in Fl in the Winter time. During the day it was nice but while I was at the show the temps drops real fast into the 40's. I had to drive my roadster home in the cold and I was freezing. I was so cold and shaking that I couldn't hold my foot from shaking on the gas pedal and the car kept doing hops driving along. I pulled up to a light and a guy next to me rolled down his window and said "You poor dumb SOB !" I could only nod in agreement.
When I got home by the time I got from the garage to the bathroom I had stripped off every bit of clothing along the way and filled the tub with the hottest water I could stand to thaw out.
We roadster guys are a special breed........a dumb breed, but a special breed.
