Well today was a good day. A little cold but a good day. I got the motor mounts cut and welded in. Got the engine and tranny set. Don't know about the pinion YET. But tommarow my son and 4 of his buddies are going to sit the cab on and see if all my measurements are right. If they are they will take the cab back off and I can start on the body work on the cab. :D:D:D

Always a great mental help to have the motor set. A real MOTORvator.

The easy way is to attach thumbnails. Click on "Go Advanced" then go below the box to "manage attatchments", "browse". Then locate the files you have on your computer, (hopefully you have re sized them.)

The other way is to import pictures from a site on the web, that's how you make a big picture.

Okay, you lost me. If it tells you that the file is uploaded, you should be able to close that window and return to your message. Attached at the bottom of the message it should have a list of your attachments (not a picture) until you submit the message. Good luck, and let me know if you have any more questions. But remember you are taking lessons from a real Bonehead.

File size!

It tells me the file is uploaded but doesn't show anything.

Rusty,
If the screen just appears white with nothing on it... that means the image was too large. There are two limits...

1) Height & width... 1000 pixels X 1000 pixels
2) Total file size with I believe is 250K

Let me know if you have any further problems!

Well lets see if this works.

Now I see the the pics RUSTY. Looks good. I also see in the first pic the coil over issue that you were having. It seems that you can build a mount on the outside if the frame for them. Just make sure that the area is well reinforced. A small crossmember in that area would be ideal but I can't tell if you have room for it.

I am so glad you got the pictures figured out. I too was not seeing the rear suspension problem like that. Have you thought about building shock hoops off the frame to hook to your coil overs? Looks like it is going to be a tight fit.

I was just looking at the coil over situation. You could use that same stock that you did for the motor mount. But I would drill a hole all the way through it and weld bungs in the holes on each side of it so it would be real strong then mount the shock so it would ride inside of that peice.Weld it to the frame and it should solve that problem. Also is that coil already rubbing up against the frame? Its hard to see it in the pic.

On the shocks there are 2 on each side. I have a piece of 3x3x1/4 angle that I was going to weld on the frame. and weld the original holders under those. My rims for the back are 10 inches wide. with them on I have 3 inches of space between them and the shocks. I'll be adding 3 inches to the width of the fenders to make them fit. The only big worry I have that REALLY bothers me is when I get to the wiring on the engine.(ECM, VATTS, PASS KEY SYSTEM). Can't afford The harness It cost $300 so Im using the original and removing everything I don't need(I THINK). But thats a long ways away. What did you thing of the hard mounts? will they work. I'll be putting chains on the drivers side to hold down the tork.<is that spelled right oh well.
