I think the engine mounts are fine RUSTY. I don't see any issues there. You really don't need the "torque" chains with solid engine mounts. The engine can't move. But if you do want to install a limiting device, may I suggest a threaded rod with an adjustable turnbuckle rather than a chain.

Being that the mounts are sloid from what I can see.There is no need for any other chain or buckle.That motor isnt going to move at all being all solid mounted.But you are going to feel all that in the truck.Make sure mirrors and all that type of stuff is also mounted real good or eventually will loosen up and fall off from all the harmonics.
 
Here are 2 pics off the bottom of the mounts that show the end of the tube is welded shut. Is that what you were talking about when ya'll were talking about being gusseted in.
