What do you think?

Obviously some great craftmanship, but not my cup of tea. I really like the idea of the roulette display though.

I was really hoping that the Ala Kart would win it. I didn't figure that it would, but it would have been kind of cool to see a car that won so long ago, win again. Especially that one.

I can appreciate the craftsmanship and hard work that was put into the car. It is a work of art but its not what I'd consider a hot rod anymore. Must be the Donk wheels and tires!

The following expressed opinion is that of RoddinRon and does not in any way reflect the opinions of the forum.....

if you can't drive it...be it for fear of chipping something or just because it's not practical........it's not for me. Yes it's a nice work of art, but to me it's not a car. Cars are meant to be driven (and in my case...driven hard).

Now take the 200K that was said to have been spent on this and think of how cool of a "driver" you could build and still have money left over to take the entire forum out to breakfast for...what...say everyday for a year?

Like I said...nice art, but definitely not a car.

Ok I'm done and will now humblely crawl back into my corner with my Studebaker.

Would like to know how much work the owner did on that car... other than pulling his fat checkbook out. I guess pride in ownership has different meanings.

Very crafty looking car tho'. Ton's of work, time, and money to be afraid to drive it.

Just another guy's opinion.

Its a cool car, but is it practical in any way? NO!

I have a little model of the Ala Kart, Its a sweet little custom. I like it, and would have loved to see it win again.

Yeah, that. Except I doubt 200g would touch it. I'd rather drive something like Rusty's 38 anyday.
