In case you didn't know DVAPTeam has their own show on Discovery. I just happened to see it when I was channel surfing & watched nearly all of it B4 I saw the shirts they were wearing & snapped! Ck it...

I really like this show but the producers need to work on their facts......while shiowing pics of "Galaxies" they kept showing chevelles and when they were looking at a 75 ranchero they listed it as 75 el camino

I don't get why there always has to be drama on these shows. I like to see the work being done whether its on old cars or choppers but all that staged fussing and fighting makes me reach for the remote.

Yeah--I'm with you. I guess the drama is for people who don't really do cars, and the producers use it to broaden the shows apeal.

I just turn the junk off.

It's hard to give honest feedback sometimes when another member is involved, but IMO the show is just not very good. Nothing new, same old Hollywood type drama and goofiness that they seem to think has to be in every car show to make it interesting. They lost me when they said they did a full restoration on that T Bird. If anything, it was just a clean up and cheap paint job.

I still think the very best car show on TV right now is Hot Rod TV. No BS, just good, solid car stuff. My Classic Car and Car Crazy aren't bad either. I wonder how this new show coming on soon is going to be? I forget the name, something Warriors, I think.

I think they are a bit over the top but like was said, "gotta put in something for everyone".... average joe stuff..... I like to see what kind of crap they come up with that is supposed to entertain the mass's..... my wife gets ticked off at all my comment..... watching these is a bit like watching COPS..... too much playing for the cameras going on to do good work....way too much DRAMA....

Unfortunately us car/bike/boat/motor head guys will pretty much watch anything geared towards us without the fancy wrappers but to get the show to appeal to those outside our circle they must beef it up with drama.

Overall it is the best thing they do for us, it makes what we do validated & the values elevated.

If you can"t paint or even hang doors and fenders on a car don"t call yourself restoring cars.I even thought hell give it a chance and maybe it will improve but the second was worse than the first and then they can"t even tell the difference between a EL-Camino and a Ranchero.Better get them some tech support or their show won"t be on long.

Just to tick us gear heads off, give the wrong vehicle, engine, year, make you name it.... makes you want to throw something at the screen.... man, I need to chill..... I'm losing my sense of humor........
