Has anyone shortened a 4 door sedan?

Hi Rat Rod folks...
I found a really rough 1939 Plymouth 4 door sedan (hump back sedan)....I would love to shorten it down to a 2 door...probably channel the whole thing once it is shortened...she is rough old piece...it does roll so that is a good thing...
Has anyone taken a 4 door and made it into a 2 door coupe like thing??

That car is still a masterpiece. It's the car that brought me here, I saw Charlie cruising it at a show and searched it online.

I have seen a few sedans that have been shortened but have never done it. Seen a model a that looked like a bantam.

So when I was a kid back in the 1970s...I had a neighbor who built stuff like this...I think this one started life as a 1935/6 Chevy 2 door sedan...This hot rod probably had a 50's vintage Chevy car frame under it and then they built cage on top of that...to me this is one of the coolest hot rod ever...love the center steering too...
