I am Russ, not joe. I like to screw around and modify almost everything I own. Here is my 47 GMC on 99 S10 4.3 auto.

it started out as

yes I know that is a 62 cab, it was originally a 62 and I found the 65 big window donor.

I am a consulting engineer and writer by trade, I have two teenagers and a two year old, one wife, and goof off with trucks as much as I can.

Next up is the 49, same plan, S10 chassis, 2002 4.3 auto with the late model harness and features. I may bag this one, I have a whole ART s10 kit kicking around.

this truck is pretty nice except the floors, someone shot the roof and it let water collect.

I live in doodah ks (wichita) and dont mind helping local people out.

here are a few of the GMC

kept AC

used s10 rad

set the body up with a 3" body drop and 3" springs/2" spindles

took the steppers out of the s10 cluster

I am not a whitewall guy but they look great on this truck

I did the same trick with the gauges although I used the 90 C1500 cluster to rob the motors from. [cl
