New to the rod scene, but not to cars.

came here looking for info on a new project i;ve decided to pursue. a '42 jeep willys that is gonna get slammed on the ground and rodded out for as cheap as i can posibly do it.

heres a few pics of my latest rig. finished this one up last year after a 4 year build and have been enjoying the hell outtah it.

looking forward to gaining some new knowledge. I;ve never built anything lower to the ground, and 2wd so this is definately going to be a learning experience.

this is my dads '72 we built up a few years back. this was actually my first 4x4 when i was 17. its traded hands back and forth a few times, and was featured in the march issue of 4WD and sport utility in 2008

Cool that your looking at buildin' a rat. If you do tube frame, there are several builds past and present that you may wanna look into. And who said a chopped and channeled rod can't be 4WD?

thanks! that piece was hand hammered for me by some "denters" in Pakistan. they do some sick work with amazingly little tools. I'm very honored to have it on the buggy. one of these days i'll get over there to wheel and meet them. Amazing group of guys
