Waiting for our bodies to heal up really does suck, but trying to hurry it causes more problems then waiting. wait for your body to do its thing.

I know a few guys that have done the drag week races (one has done pretty well at it). All of them say that when the rides get in to the lower 10 second range, the street part is no longer much fun. There are reasons why classes above the 10.3 class are the largest. Even a 10.5 second car has a lot of issues with the driving between the racing. Trying to drive a fast car slowly really sucks, if you have never done it before.

The cab is found! '53 4100 1.5 ton former farm truck. I'll take the cab off for the build and squirrel the rest away for another day. Now to get the cab off the chassis! Hmmmmm.....I need a forklift lol

I may not go drag and drive with this after all. The wife says I wouldn't be able to get in and out of a cage very easy and she refuses to try to. Maybe just make it LOOK fast lol Blown Big block maybe?
