I found the gondola body for a small cargo trailer today. About 5' long x 2' high x about 30 inches wide. It is sort of a flattened teardrop. The cool thing is that it's all aluminum and rivet like a WW@ airplane. Rivets are real close together. It has a small access lid at the rear, full width by about 18". The sides were probably stamped because they have a nice compound curve to them. No running gear, no fenders. It had side marker lights toward the rear and one is still there. It is teardrop shaped and a clear glass lens.
Sooo.. I am looking for some links to sites or forums where I can research it out. Internet search hasn't turned up much yet. thanks

Do you have a picture of it, kind of sounds like an old uhaul trailer that sits inside a local uhaul shop. I drool over that thing all the time, it's just cool...

It sounds kind of like an old 50's J.C. Higgins camp trailer I have. It is entirely costructed out of aluminum on the bottom with storage compartments, and has a canvas tent that folds out on top and to the sides.
