Help!!

So I found out yesterday that my good friend Gary had his hot rod smashed by a tree last week and a big wind storm they had on the coast. We are in need of a 40,41 Ford big truck hood. I know it will be a hard one to locate, but it's worth a shot!!

Yeah the half ton hoods are different. I actually found a good kind of overhead view of a one and a half ton truck you can see the difference in the front

Yeah it does suck. He drives that truck all the time it's his baby. On the hunt we'll find a hood. I might even have a line on one already I'm not sure 100% yet

Reminds me of the difference between 67 Chevy truck hoods and the later one's like on a 1970.

Ouch! That's sometimes my biggest worry when we face hurricanes down here. Although I can't move my house, my trucks get moved to places away from from trees that could fall. I still have 2 leaners one leaning toward the house and one towards the barn. Still waiting to attack the huge oak that went down away from the house but it extends out into the lake. The water is almost down enough to get a tractor close enough to saw it up and drag pieces away with chains. Sorry to see the damage left on your bud's truck. It's a beauty!

Yeah, we don't have a lot of trees around us. Not something I ever thought about!!! Now I will!!!! It's fixable, he and his wife are ok. That is the important thing. If it would have fell the other way it would have been there house!!
