My rear?

What are you going to do for the rear body? When ever I stand out and have a smoke I look at the trunk lid of my 56 caddy and think,,,, Hmmmm???

I think I'll keep it like it is
Next time I build one I think I'll use the rear of an Edsel for the body and use the grill and the hood to make the front

I like them too. I think it's a cool idea. Search tip - Some people call those a horse collar grill.

No no no,,, I need to explain a little bit hear of what I was thinking.
If you take the trunk lid and stand it on end, The back of the trunk to the ground,,, You have the rear panel of a touring body. You will need to continue the curve of the trunk to the door,,, Say maybe the top of a fender,, To complete the rest of the panel. Just a thought.

I have only done this in my head,,, Haven't tried it YET !

I really like it, love those wide 5 wheels. Not sure on the loudness of a V6.

Update On the Model A

I worked on the body mounts today
I started with mounts cut from a Chevy S-10

Then I trimmed them down to size

And wielded them to the frame

Added the rubber part of the mount

Now all i have to do is drill a hole for the bolts

Pipes are going to be in the way of the steering box

Will it work in this location





Do you think the drag link will be to short

Mite have room to stand the box up and run the arm through the cowl

It has been slow around here Ive not done much work on the Model A
Been working on the house and the other cars
Got out in the shop today and caped the doors and built the corners and back of the cab
