Those treasure seeker shows, does anybody ever actually find anything? The curse of Oak Island has had me sucked in for a few nights, now it's some guys looking for the graves of giants. I'm a sap for that music score they use I guess, or just plain sap. Stupid shows, just like the drama reality crap. Oh well.... Back to watching Andy Griffith and Hogan's Heroes.

I watch all that crap. Oak island, ancient aliens, In search of aliens... All the ghost crap. I grew up watching sightings on Fridays as a kid and freaking myself out. I can't watch survivor or big brother or that other stuff. I'm actually watching mountain monsters as I type this.

I watch more of these "reality" shows than I should, at least for a couple episodes. Every now and then there is a glimmer of something interesting but it soon gets lost in the drama and usual BS, especially when the supposedly 'regular' people in these shows start to think they are actors. Just watched the latest Gold Rush episode, the best part of it is watching Tony frickin' Beets working on disassembling a giant 70 year old gold dredge to move it to his claim in the Yukon. He actually seems to be the real thing, a man with a dream on a mission that has so far not let the guys with the cameras run things.

I spend more and more time in front of this computer and less and less in front of the TV. TV was never great, but it has become downright insulting to a person's intelligence. Scripted "reality shows" and all the drama and silliness are pretty much unwatchable any more.:(:(:(:(:(

Kill your television!

Amen to that! The only reason I watch tv is because the folks watch it, and I go over there every night to cook their dinner and clean up the daily deluge. Disconnected cable about 10 years ago, and not sure why I even own a tv anymore. I used to race PS3 with Gran Turismo, but that got boring too, so I sold it. Oh, and I have an old Quasar console tv with remote that I have thought about putting a fish tank in and use the remote to turn on the lights!

I watch too much but many nights don't even turn it on and it's never on in the morning or daytime. I do kinda enjoy some of the ancient aliens because i have always wondered how some of that stuff got built and they do take you to some cool digs. Military channel about half the time. How it's made, modern marvels, engineering disasters, once in a while a movie. Pretty much over and done with the Discovery.

Watched America unearthed earlier. That guys an ass. Interesting theory's but he's an ass.

You can't argue with someone that knows they're right.

Hollow65 I like to watch that myself ,, only seen about 4 shows ,, cant seem to catch it on any more ..

They had a marathon yesterday. Me and my boys watched it. Now I'm watching ghost adventures. I live in the house my grandparents died in. Natural causes. Still creeps me out though. Ancient aliens was pretty cool yesterday also. The Sphinx. Deep down I'm a dork
Pretty late where you are my man. I've been sippin robitussin and makers mark. I'm about done for the day. Dang flu

I'm right there with Don. We have actually not had TV in over a year and I don't miss it one bit.

Going on 20 years with out a TV in our household. Don't miss it and it makes me crazy when I have to go somewhere and they have it on in the waiting room.
Torchie.

When I was in school, history was all about things that actually happened in the past. No mention of ghosts or aliens.

And history written by the winners. Who knows how much bs is thrown in. Or how much isn't told that should be there.

It's been about a year since we've had cable tv. So I haven't even heard of most of the shows you guys are talking about. Heck I watched part of the news at a friends house yesterday and still only watched about 5 minutes of the weather. Even it seamed to be spoofed to scare people of snow. (That's 500 miles away)
