Hello all,
My name is Craig and I live in Round Rock Texas (next door to Austin). Earlier this year I acquired my 1959 El Camino and I absolutely love this cruck! It was a shop truck for a place called Capital Paint and Body out of Mineral Wells Texas back in the 60's as you can see from what's left of the paint. It's been lowered (not bagged), converted to front disc brakes, and has a Chevy 350 crate motor. I'm currently slowly working on all the little mechanical issues but at least I don't need to spend money to get it painted - I'm never going to ruin the awesome patina! Anyhoo, glad I found this forum - I'm sure I'll be asking questions from time to time and look forward to reading the posts here.
Take Care,
Craig
