Just wanted introduce myself per the forum rules. Been a car guy pretty much all of my life and always have way to many projects and never any money for any of them. I am looking to build a modified out of a glass 23 T body and dream over the next year or so. Here are a few pics of my money pits and what I am starting my project with. I looked around here for a while today pretty neat place. Seems to be a little friendlier than some "other" sites. :D

Welcome to the forum. You actually READ THE ENTIRE THREAD?? You must be a cat lover. :D Well, thanks for doing it.

Your offroad stuff looks cool. I'm looking forward to seeing your modified come together, it should be fun for you. What is funny is trying to explain the term "modified" to non car people at shows. I had some ask me "what do you call this car?" and when I tell them modified, I have to explain lakes modified and the history behind them. Finally it was easier to say "T Bucket." That they understood. :D

Keep the pictures coming. Your picture of your future T project looks like mine did a while back. The frame in the picture got cut up and is now a bench under our metal brake.

Cat lover? Eh, not so much. LOL I read about 75% in one sitting it is what I do once the kids go to bed to chill out. The wife usually crashes not long after they do and I am a night owl. I pulled a few near all nighters when I did the rust repair on the floor of my Jeep, that makes me glad I am starting with a glass body on this thing. LOL

I had a '79 Capri drag car until about 18 months ago sold that (kind of wish I hadn't been involved with it for the better part of 15 years) and bought a '71 Bug last September. Played with for about a year decided that wasn't what I really wanted and I needed to finish the cage and some other things on my Jeep. Then about a month after the bug left I found this body on one of my Jeep forums classifieds cheap considering what they are from the builder. Dad always wanted a T bucket and never got to build one so now I will. After doing lots of looking on the HAMB and other places a Modified is what I pretty set on all though it might wind up being a RPU. Anyway enough rambling here are coupell more pics of other toys that have come and gone.
