Up and at em. After 4 hours of sleep I'm starting to put the motor in. A couple of buddies are on their way over so by tonight I should be back to rollin in the 64!
Ok. I have never seen a small block without the three holes for the starter. The 64 takes the two across from each other and this block didn't have one. So I had to drill and tap the hole for the starter. That worked, but now I have an air pocket in the motor that I'm fighting with and my thermostat housing developed a crack in the top. This little crap is the stuff that takes so long. Good news is that the motor looks great and sounds great.
