OK, here ya go. I found this 1957 IH pickup. Just had a vision with what im wanting it to look like. My oldest son is 14 and he's excited about the build. We have been working on the cab for the past couple of weekends and its starting to take shape.

Dude, thats a 56 IHC S series. The 57 A had a totally different body. The title may say 57, but that is because IHC titled the year it was sold, not bulit. Either way, Its super cool, and a one year design. (The A in 57 stood for aniversary because it marked 50 years of IHC making trucks.) Side note, in 2007, IHC came out with the cxt to mark 100 years of trucks.

Update fromThe weekend

Well my son and I chopped the top 4 inches initially, Just did'nt encompass what i had visions of so we took another 3 inches out and by George I believe we got it. Starting to look like a Rat Rod.lol

1972 Camaro Sub Frame

Got talked into putting a camaro sub-frame onto the truck frame to replace the old worn out IH frame. I'll attach some pictures from this coming weekend. Thats the plan to date, Pull the bed,Pull the engine, cut the frame, weld the frame. Sounds pretty easy....lol[;)

Here's the 74 camaro subframe. Im hoping i can get it set up with the curve in the frame to make the truck look like i want.

Her's the bed. I cut the top rails off so i can put some new metal to them for the short bed it's gonna get. That last bolt was a real humdinger to get out, but with a little sweat and blood it came on out, and oh yea a grinder with a cut off disc.lol
