Nice new toys, Don. I am envisioning building a scoop/air cleaner of some sort. I just don't want it to look like everybody else's. That's kind of challenging.
And that, good Sir, is exactly what I intend to find out driving mine once I get it finished.Funny you should mention the autocrossing. My Son's said I could now drive this on the street with the suspension we are putting in it. Bet THAT would be interesting at red lights !

Aren't you worried about flex? 2x6 would have been better.... .
Probably should have glued it also. Dont want those nails pulling out on a hard launch.
Don't worry, it is kiln dried lumber which is the chromoly of the cabinet world...[S
I'm going to name my altered "Stone, WOODS, and Cook."

Hey Don, I have your axle and other parts almost ready to ship. I'll call you when I am done.
I'll run ya if ya leave the jackstand under itToday the big brown truck showed up. Got my rear wheels:
Got my slicks:
And, of course, I had to slide them under my body to see how they fit. Doesn't look like I need to cut the fender openings any more to fit them, which surprised me.
Tomorrow I am going to have the slicks mounted and then I will know for sure.
