Start by measuring the location of the 1/4 inch pipe fitting outlet in the bottom of the tank. Locate the fuel sender directly above it. Drill a hole in the top of the tank the size of the hole in the gasket. Locate the sender the way you want it to face so it does not hit the side of the tank. Mark it because the holes are off set. Drill the holes so you can thread them, I use 10-24 by 1 inch. phillips screws. Now the fun part, the screws will not hold in the plastic, so you have to go through the hole in the bottom of the tank with a long screwdriver. Screw them in, now you have permanent studs. Use an air blower and vaccuum cleaner to clean out tank of all debris. Install sender and gasket and ground wire. Done!
