A friend of mine is buying an alinement machine for his shop. Waiting on the alignment before I put the Hollywood smoothies back on. You'll still see a small ring of blue.

This week the Mrs's Vegetable patch ate up all of my spare time. Memorial day is is reserved for the stereo instal.

Got new carpet yesterday. Thought I'd get started @ 6 am and knock it out before it got hot. Simple project ..right?

Pulled the seats & old carpet and found a nasty, oil-sludge mess. Looked like creosote that they used to coat rifles with? That and sand, dirt, dead bugs etc.

2 bottles of engine degreaser & a 1/2 can of oily rags & paper towels later:

All that goop is probably what saved it from rotting away.

After I cleaned up the Goop, I thought if I should ever decide to sell it, this is something a buyer would like to see.

- Just finished caving up the Carpet, re-running the audio wiring and putting the seats back in. Still need to put in the sill plates on but, it's hot & the 4th weekend so I'm taking a break. Pulled pork & Cole slaw Samiches, Water Mellon & Sun Tea.
