Adjust the steering box
Change the brake fluid and hopefully install the new heater

this is a handful to drive. the willys was nimble. this feels like i imagine an antique logging truck would feel like,
this spring i am going to try and install power steering.
it looks simple and there is plenty of real estate on these rigs to move around in[

sure
its pretty common among the m37 guys
the tranny seems to be working fine
i just need to get used to it along with everything else on this rig
BTW the military complicated light switch is hooked up
took me ten minutes to figure out how to turn the headlights on

theres a inside lever you pull and the swing out tire carrier opens
then open the door

Ok that makes sense. I'd have to sacrifice the originality for convenience and mount the spare some where else. Just my worthless opinion.

luckily for my wallet it already had 2 of them on the rear in great shape

i took it on a tiny 4x4 run just now.
my beloved 3 mph granny compound low 1st gear is back
i had it on my willys and loved it
mostly for going down steep spooky stuff
