Hello, My name is Jared. I'm from southeast Kansas and just recently bought my first ratrod/hotrod project. I still haven't decided what I want to do with it. Its a 1940 chevrolet master deluxe 2door sedan. It has minimal rust in the floor pans, and corner of one rocker. I having trouble figuring out the look I want. If any one can point my in the right direction of any good pics of a car ratrodded out that is like mine that would be great. I've already got an s-10 to sub frame it with, but it needs both the fenders replaced on the drivers side. I can't seem to find any body panels for it. Any and all advice/help would be awesome! Thanks, Jared

Here is my 1940 master deluxe. If ya have any links to pictures of one fixed up more rat rod style than nice hotrod style that'd be awesome. That second pic is after I attacked it with my paint program and did some chopping and lowering.

welcome b.w.c, i have never seen fadeaway fenders on one of those and it might help you fixing your fenders and give you the extra experience for fabing-chopping-sectioning,ther are many dvds-books on the subjects ive found to be thourough enough yet you can still use some of the basic techniques, ron fourneier has an ultimate sheetmetal fab book that is awsome another great is eddie paulscustom body work these 2 are a little more in depth kick azz foirst build man when you pizzed or frustrated just walk away and come back some other time its easier to walk away than to do it twice or hree times, keep a clear head and always plan picture then work. good luck and post pics:cool::cool:
