What a blast from the past... I got a JC Whitney catalogue in the mail today!!! What have I done to deserve this!?!?

Brings back memories of bras, spoilers, louvres, equalizers and those 12,000 watt amplifiers for only $50!!

Never did order anything from them...even as a youth I was too skeptical.

Bought a bunch o'stuff off them in the mid-1990's for my '71 Bug. Heck of a good deal, parts were up to snuff. I think I may order another catalog for old time's sake. Great bathroom reading, eh ?

Motorcycle

It's all comin' back to me now... it's a motorycle catalogue. To keep the noise down on the old Daytripper's zoomers I ordered cheap motorcycle baffles for JCW & now several years later I get a cycle book. Wonder if I order a rat rod part if they'll sen me a rat rod book. Surprisingly... they had some pretty kool stuff in there.

When I was a kid The JCW catalog was one of the rags that used to inspire me. My Dad had a subscription for years to Hemmings Motor News too. It was always a great source of information as well.
