A *real* tin magnet
I see a few guys using old circle track parts on their rods. Cool stuff, usually expensive new and cheap used.
Most of you using the stiff already know this but those parts take a beating, especially on dirt track cars. And a lot of them get replaced after a hard hit. Over the years I saw a lot of parts get re-used that looked ok after a wreck, only to see them fail very soon after.
I'm just saying, be darn careful if it's safety related stuff like steering or brake parts, there is probably a good reason they aren't still on the race car.
