These are a couple pictures from the main street of a town called Ward CO.

Eerie place. We drove in looking for coffee. Very backwoods type people(trust me, I transplanted to the city). The main street and other dirt streets were lined with non-working vehicles of all years. Suddenly I felt like I was in one of those cheap TV movies where the family enters a weird town and is never heard from again, but at the end their car winds up along the road with all the other vehicles. Spooky.

I literally did not take my first drink of my coffee until after 10 minutes from when my wife had drank some. I wasn't about to pass out behind the wheel and disappear forever!

Oh yeah, on the way out of the town, we passed a old guy with a Rumpelstiltskin beard walking a 3-legged dog! It doesn't get any more cliche than that!

.....well....maybe a banjo player woulda been worse....

Ha, before I got to the last line of your post, I was going to ask you if you heard any banjo music. Spooky place.

Did you see these guys.

So you waited to see if your wife passed out before you drank yours? Hope she doesn't frequent the forum! I've been to places like this that made shivers run up my spine and I took that as a sign to move on down the road.

Now if you would have seen one of those old fortune telling machines with a devils head on it sitting on your table - I think I would have left right then -if ya know what I mean.

Hey Gas, that looks like Zek and Zeb! Ha ha. Anyone been to Oatman Az? Not so much erie but alot of old stuff sittin around. They even have mules or donkeys, whatever, that roam the town and they will even follow you right into the stores.
