You're probably right Mav. I witnessed a similar wreck in Deland one day. Truck was pulling a big boat on trailer and a car ran the light. Except the boat launched itself off the trailer, over the truck pulling it and up an embankment to the edge of a car lot. Strapped down properly or not, when the towing vehicle comes to an abrupt stop, a heavy boat has enough enertia to rip the straps and the bottom shape allows it plow right over the stops on the trailer.
