75 yr liberation anniversary of the Netherlands started yesterday. this year and most of 2020 there will be all kinds of festivities and memorials to honour our liberators and keep the memories alive.

thanks to all your dads ,uncles, and grandpas from the bottom of my heart.
I`m so glad we don`t speak German nowadays

I counted 13 planes in that picture, all the light puffy stuff is flak. Yikes.

This one brings back a memory. When I was a kid working in a Datsun dealership. That's how long ago it was. We had a really bad cold snap and somehow we had a batch of customers cars that wouldn't start. They had oil so heavy that they wouldn't even turn over. It took forever to warm them up enough to get the oil changed.
