OK, I do like the Vette. Seems to me the grill looks more fishmouth Olds style than original Vette though.

I ran across these pics of my Dads '43 Jeep. Pictures were taken around '83, after it had been sitting for about 12 years. We had taken it to Padre Island and the air filter fell off while Pop was doing "Rat Patrol" jumps across the sand dunes. It put a rod out the block. The last time I saw it, about 2000, there was an oak tree grown up thru the floorboard.
And I discovered where my front "turn signals" came from. Off the Jeep. They were the small running lights. Nobody knows how they got off the Jeep and into storage but, I found them. The newer picture of the three is how the thing should have looked at one time in its life. That's all.
