We went to an event at a friends funeral home last nite & they told me a while back they had this old hearse & wanted me to see what might be needed to get it going again. They said it was in bad shape & I was expecting the worse but it really was in pretty good shape... hardly any rust... nothing missing with a big old flattie V8 & red velvet interior! Wow what a beautiful car! Sorry about the lame cell fone fotos!

Nice!!! It wouldn't take much to have that baby rolling again at all. Hard to tell from just thes pics but it does look like it has a lot of life left in it. :D That car is worth some big bucks regardless. If it was professionally restored it would really be something to see.

Thanks for sharing the pics Trip.

Here is a link to one of my favorite hearses of all time. A 41 Cadillac. Check out the pictures and how they found it in a barn compared to what looks like today. This is an amazing restoration of a classic hearse.

Bob, did you tell them that it was beyond hope and that you would take it off their hands for them? That's a really cool hearse.

I checked out that link T1. Man what a nice job they did on that one.
