Okay, have been surfing the web high and low, can not seem to find anything that looks remotely like my vision....... gonna put the I-beam about 12 inches forward of the original IFS front, so that the axle is just behind the grill shell. anybody got any pics of a modified s10 chassis with an I-beam?[S
I didn't say I wouldn't give her a rip, I have been with woman that are crazier than that.....ooops! did I say what I was thinking again.......$4it!!!!
Okay been out of the loop alittle....since last post sold the s10 air bag chassis for 500$ , and purchased an old street rod chassis off craigslist for 600$....... I decided to do a more traditional style chassis for reliability and ease of finding parts on the road....cause I am gonna drive the $4it outa this thing.
the chassis has an a-body rear supension with a 10 bolt and a mustang II front end with a manual rack!
Okay, got a new phone and hope to post pics today. Since my last post, decided to go alittle more traditional with the chassis...sold the bagged s10 to a buddy for 500$ and puchased and old complete hot rod chassis for 600$.
the new well new to me chassis has a mustang II front end w/ a manual rack and 10 bolt a-body rear suspension. the chassis was originally under a '39 chevy pick up. I put the body on it for "mock up" and decided to channel it another 5 1/2 inches. Gonna try to get pics up today!
with the chassis " to paint, or not to paint, that is the question!"[ddev
Looks like you gotta handle on this whole rusty old stuff thing...I like your build so far. Looks like we are not that far apart as far as distance goes...both upstate New Yorkers....the land of salt and rust for sure...
thanks for sharing...
