License Plates for Sun Visors

Has anyone used license plates as sun visors? I'm looking to do this and was curious if anyone knew what works best and whether anyone has any photos of what they did?

I like the idea! Really......how hard would it be to adapt the flipdown mechanism from a late model car to the plates? Not hard at all.

You could use a licence plate light.

Yeah, might wanna soften up the edges somehow.

I got one in the 41 ford . I put a piece of door trim along the bottom to protect
the forehead . I didn't want a front plate on the car so the plate -viser works
if a cop ask just fold it down.

What a great idea for a sun visor.
So take it a step farther.
Take two plates one for each side
Build a half inch square frame for them
Put hinges on the inside plate now when u flip
Down sun visor u can flip it open place for keys and paper work
