Just like everything else you have to practice. Use some junk tires before you do the ones your going to use. Or just put them on your driver and scrub the curb until ther done.
I watched the video on you tube..then tried it on a set from the dump...they were bf goodwrich raised white letter tires 16" truck tire with a street tread..i first tried the grinder with a 36 grit disc...10,000 rpm's was to much for me..just melting the rubber...then I tried my snap on variable speed buffer set on 1000 rpm's with a 36 grit sanding disc...that was the ticket...worked great..they have about a 2.5 inch white band.....
