So basically I found a Essex body to build another rat and as you can imagine there it no title. Anyone in Colorado familiar with the procedure for a missing title. From what I gathered reading other posts it might be easier to just get a mechanics lien or a towing yard?? Or is Colorado one of the easier states??

its a long process here, the colorado dmv page outlines the steps for a rebuilders title. before you even start, it needs to be a rolling chassis with steering hooked up, then you can get it inspected. you need to provide receiptss for major parts, wait a year, and then apply for a title once it is built.
