This belongs to a friend of mine in Texas. I helped him some on the build several years ago. It's all traditional with a hopped up banger and stock mechanical brakes. It does have a BW 3+OD tranny from a Ford pickup. I've drove it and it's a ton of fun, really barks.
This is the first time I've had pictures of it and now he tells me he is selling it to finance a 31 extended cab pickup project.

What's wrong with that?

Most I've had (not all drivers) was close to 50. The county put a end to that for me tho:mad:

Your friend should find a way to build the '31 pickup without selling the speedster.[cl

I don't think he "has" to sell it. He has just had 6-7 years of fun with it and don't use it much anymore. He also has a restored 28 pickup and a nice 31 coupe with a juiced up banger, overdrive and a/c that he cruises with most of the time. Plus I think he has a Murray 4 door he was building but he might have got rid of it.
There just isn't much of the year that you can enjoy an open car in east Texas, it goes from too hot to too cold in about 30 days and the same in the spring only reverse.
