Ate at the Big Texan Steakhouse Saturday night. Home of the free 72oz steak if you eat in less than an hour.

I just saw that steakhouse on TV. 72 oz is like what, 5 pounds ?? I have trouble eating a one pound steak, and I'm not shy about eating.

That place sure has some neat old cars. Have you ever priced any of them to see if they are Barrett Jackson high or reasonable ?

Don

I haven't check prices. But most of the same cars have been there for 5+ years!

I've driven past it. That 287 miles from Ft.Worth to Amarillo should qualify me for a Mars mission, what a bleak depressing drive. Come to think of it all the way to Kingman, Flaggstaff was the only place that looked habitable then. Every exit seemed to be another boarded up version of someone's dreams dashed on the rocks.

You said Tucumcari but isn't it Santa Rosa. The shiny cars are inside and costs 8 or 10 bucks to see them? Be nice if there is one in Tucumcari now also. :)

There is a car museum in Santa Rosa I went through it, some really nice cars. But I don't recognize the other, I spent a lot of time in Tucumcari and didn't see it. Oh, and the Big Texan is a must, awesome steaks!

That's a used car lot East end of Tucumcari. Bozos museum is in Santa Rosa. I have some picturesi need too post. I live an hour drive from Santa Rosa.

Wow! Where are they getting this stuff. There is a packrat that lives in a dump in the desert off of I-8 on my route to Yuma. I stopped there years ago and he had some neat stuff . Now i go by a couple of times a week and see he has drug in more '20s and '30s.
